Summary of story:

In the story There Will Come Soft Rains by Ray

Bradbury, there is just one house left standing in the

midst of total decimation. The house is run on technology

and robots.There are no people in this house, but it still

follows it’s daily schedule. After all, technology doesn’t

have a brain. It has no idea that there are no people. Until

the rain comes and knocks a tree over into the kitchen

of the house. A fire breaks out and knocks the house to

it’s feet, it continues the same thing over and over

everyday. Probably never stopping until the machine

dies, if it’s possible for it to die.
